I don’t know about you but I wasn’t bending the Supreme Court to my will when I was young. But the subject of my movie successfully argued a case before SCOTUS when he was only 27. He kept on winning cases for progressive causes and when he was 45, he got into modern dance. A recent piece for the Rehearsing Philadelphia festival shows the intersection of his two worlds.

Resurrect Extinct Vibration is a (Soma)tic poetry ritual in nine maneuvers, including lying on the ground across the US to saturate their body with recordings of recently extinct animals and strategically placing index cards in public with email correspondences for each animal, to result in a total of 108 poems.
